As an Orbital Dynamics Engineer you will:
Become an expert in our propulsion module functionality
Generate detailed maneuver plans and commissioning plans for satellite missions
Ensure satellites reach their intended orbits and maintain their positions
Develop and implement automation solutions for orbit maintenance procedures
Collaborate closely with the Mission Control team and Mission Engineering team
Analyze and optimize satellite maneuvers considering power budget and pointing capabilities
Perform orbital analysis and trajectory design for satellite missions
Conduct collision avoidance analysis and recommend mitigation strategies
Contribute to the development of tools for orbital calculations and predictions
Prepare technical reports and presentations for internal stakeholders
Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or related field (Ph.D. preferred)
Minimum of 3 years of experience in orbital dynamics and satellite operations
Strong knowledge of orbital mechanics, astrodynamics, and spacecraft dynamics
Expertise in propulsion systems and their application in satellite operations
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, or C++
Experience with orbit determination and propagation software (e.g., STK, GMAT, OREKIT)
Familiarity with space environment models and perturbation analysis
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills in English (knowledge of Greek or German is a plus)
Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
Willingness to work flexible hours to support satellite operations as needed
