The Mission
Munich-based OroraTech is developing a constellation of nano-satellites with thermal infrared cameras as payload for automated wildfire detection, severe weather warnings and many other applications, as well as its own microsatellite platform for in-house and customer missions. After our first three Missions FOREST-1-3, as well as our first full orbital plane of eight satellites OTC-P1 (Launch End of March 2025), we currently work towards the second orbital plane, which includes four satellites built and operated completely in-house under the Hellenic Fire-Satellite Program from the European Space Agency.
We are seeking an experienced ADCS engineer having demonstrated experience building and integrating ADCS systems onboard cubesats. You’ll own the ADCS subsystem onboard our satellites. Your work starts at helping the design phase, helping the structure team in making the design a reality , testing the implementation and finally verifying it in orbit. You’ll work closely with our structural engineers, our test engineers and finally help the mission control team plan and execute ADCS maneuvers in orbit.
