We are looking for a Working Student IT Systems Administration to join our IT Department and support our daily IT operations. You will help resolve service desk tickets, deploy and configure Windows devices, Linux laptops, and MacBooks, and assist with user and application administration.

What you’ll be doing
- Maintenance and automation of heterogeneous office and lab server infrastructure
- Server, workstation and laptop installation automation and management (Debian/Windows/macOS)
- Internal network infrastructure (Unifi) administration
- Support colleagues with IT infrastructure questions and projects
Relevant Skills
- Currently pursuing a university degree or equivalent in Computer Science or similar
- First practical experience with Linux systems (e.g. through prior jobs, internships, university projects, open-source projects, academia/research, etc.)
- Solid understanding of network technologies & topologies
- Familiarity with software configuration management tools, such as Ansible
- Experience with Git, Bash, Docker and basic programming skills in a scripting language like Python
- Strong communication skills; fluency in English, German is a plus
- Awareness of IT security principles
- Located in Munich
